A sweet scent of orchid And a touch that felt so mellow, It was the cradle to a faltering heart Many, many moons ago.
Now, a fading tickle of memory Once a soft caress christening the soul Nestling in the nocturnal groves It waits on the cadavers of the past to be let in through the nightly door.

Striding through the lonesome street
I hear nothing but a grim melody
Echoing across the length of the roads so empty
Of the flocks perched on the sacred willows
The laughter once heard was now only a memory.
“Would I make it till the end?” I wonder
Looking up at the sky make my soul clobber
Shrouded was the earth with an ominous gray light
Unsettling was the feeling evoked by the thundering clouds that hover
The faint bellows of the horns coming from afar
The rueful heaves of the souls eternally scarred
“Would I be able to walk on till the end?” I thought
Wondering what might be written in the stars.

Comes the nightfall and the darkness pervades Spreading its arms to embrace your falling grace. You look around, you know that you're lost And that's just when you see the dancing flames As they strive to pull you out of the haze. The glowing embers scintillate You wonder how you ever ended up in this daze. As the burning fire sets your heart ablaze. You feel the raging blast of angst. Soon, you see through the embers, those arms get closer. And now, the dance is over.
