“OK, but that doesn’t mean YOU don’t have any feelings for him,” I teased.
“True. I mean, look at him. Who wouldn’t fall for him?” She smiled. “If he weren’t all over you, then I would have definitely made my move.” She winked.
“We HATE each other,” I said.
“Well, don’t be so sure. Bhai was telling me that Aryan lets his guard down only around you,” she said, grinning widely, placing her elbow on the table and resting her jaw on her half-curled fist, giving me a teasing look.
“Where is this conversation going? We were talking about you having a crush on him,” I said bringing the conversation back on track.
“Well, if you want to confirm my feelings for him, then rest assured, I don’t have any. I only talk about him to make you see things that you are deliberately trying to avoid.”
“I don’t have any feelings for him,” I said staring straight at her.
“Then, it’s time you start thinking about him,” she replied. “Such genuine guys don’t come into our lives again and again. And you have already let go of one such guy.”
